An event is all about an experience and this weekend's Harbourfest is set to give people an experience and 'taste' of Owen Sound, all in one day!
Harbourfest is taking over the Owen Sound inner harbour to draw crowds for food, drinks, live entertainment and fun family activities from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, rain or shine. Admission is free.
The 'Main Stage' area will be located on the east harbour wall, in front of Mudtown Station Brewery & Restaurant, with a fully-licensed area to sample local craft beers, cider, wine and food vendors while enjoying live entertainment all day long. Musical performers on stage include CTV's The Launch winner Logan Staats at 7:00 PM, and the Practically Hip tribute band, hitting the stage at 8:00 PM.
Plenty of local community groups and organizations will be on hand at the event to offer event goers lots to see and do.
Some of the community groups includes:
- Addicts Attic Outreach Service
- Antique and Classic Car Club of Canada
- At Last Adventures & At Last Forest Schools

- The Community Waterfront Heritage Centre will be open with family friendly activities. From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM join Lauren Best, Owen Sound's Poet Laureate for songs and stories, and special performances and music from the Owen Sound Multi-Cultural Arts & Craft Collective.
