The City of Owen Sound is pleased to offer three exciting camps this summer where children can enjoy a fun and safe learning experience: Hockey Skills Development, Power Skating and Soccer Camp.
Focusing on developing a player’s shooting, passing, puck control and puck protection, the Hockey Skills program and instructor, Brad Tiley, will ensure your child is ready for the upcoming season.
Skating is essential to the success of any hockey player and our Power Skating program focuses on control, balance, speed and endurance. Instructors Denise Reid and Kim Burns are well respected in the skating community and will be sharing the instructing role this year.
Keith Mason will once again be instructing the Soccer Camps this summer along with his team of instructors from the University of Guelph. Keith has been running Performance Plus Soccer Camps for over 20 years and is the Head Soccer Coach of the Guelph Gryphons.
Registration for these camps commenced today, March 2nd. Registration forms can be found on the City’s website and can be submitted at City Hall, between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM Monday to Friday, or via email to Staci Landry at [email protected]. Cash, cheque, debit or credit cards will be accepted for payment of the summer camps. Registration can now also be completed online.
