In recognition of Owen Sound hosting the world's largest plastic duck this week, and to inspire those who would like us to become a Blue Community, the Hub is pleased to share excerpts from Liz Zetlin's musings on her own Plastic Challenge for the month of July.

cropwalkGrey County Soil & Crop are hosting a "Crop Walk" on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. in the Holstein area. Meet at the Egremont Optimist Community Hall in Holstein (392137 Grey Rd 109). This Crop Walk will provide an excellent opportunity to walk a variety of crop fields which will include peas for export to India, new hybrid rye, corn, beans, cereals and forages. This is a great opportunity to obtain current crop updates.
