First there was a random drip, drip, pause, and drip just outside the back door as the growing warmth in the sun melted the snow that still clung to the roof. At the end of the eaves trough spout, a rippled icicle grew as the water ran and then froze in the cold air. A tiny hole in the trough allowed another drip right onto the back step where the cold cement instantly turned the melt to ice, a hazardous sign of spring that I have come to expect.

Toddler & Me Yoga is a fun informal class aimed at introducing yoga to children 1 to 5 years of age. This class incorporates song, movement, breath and relaxation in a fun and playful atmosphere. The Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce has served over 220 families with end of life care over the past two years. The Ontario Ministry of Health only provides funding for nurses and personal care workers, and all the
other costs of operating this facility are handled through local fundraising.
The Bank of Canada needs help deciding who should be the first Canadian woman featured on our money. Grey County believes no one deserves the honour more than Grey County's own Agnes Macphail, Canada's first woman Member of Parliament.
Agnes had a national impact and was a trailblazer and inspiration for women across Canada. You can nominate her to be the first Canadian woman on a banknote. Links to the nomination page are posted on the County of Grey's Facebook page.
