I was blown away by the knowledge and wisdom in the room and the passion around this ambitious and ground breaking project. I very much look forward to the next layers of our conversation as we explore the ideas and decisions that will shape the details of Glassworks Village.

Artisans Holiday Show & Sale is made up of a small group of local artisans dedicated to providing a showcase for our local art, craft and food artisans while giving back to our communities, local groups and charities. They will host a public show and sale on Friday December 2nd, Saturday December 3rd and Sunday December 4th at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. Here in Owen Sound, we didn’t quite get the 7 feet of snow they got in some areas around Buffalo this past weekend. Still, the 2-or-so feet we got was plenty for mid November! But, as the old saying goes, It’s an ill wind that blows no one any good, and so the storm put me in mind of a story. One that — by happy coincidence — is told in my new book, Hockey Hall of Fame True Stories.
