A friendly reminder, with the recent announcement of a ‘stay-at-home’ order, leaving home to give blood is not only allowed, it’s essential to ensure hospital patients have the blood they need, when they need it.

Further, while making an appointment is necessary, keeping it is crucial. Missed or cancelled appointments are difficult for us to fill since we can longer replace you with a ‘walk-in’ donor. Every donation counts.

The next blood donation clinic is set for Wednesday, May 5 from 2 to 7pm at the Owen Sound Legion.
