Naagan by Zach Keeshig is a progressive Indigenous Upscale Dining destination, serving a 9 course tasting menu inspired by his indigenous back ground. Each dish composed are from things he has foraged/grown or sourced locally.
These reserved dinners will be held at the Owen Sound Farmers Market by reservation only, 13 guests are invited to dine at this one of a kind food experience. Dinners will be held every Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 – 9:00 pm.
Naagan will also be serving a small changing 3 to 4 item take out lunch menu Thursday and Friday from 12 to 5, At the take out counter you will be able to find things like smoked fish, Indigenized sour dough bread, Maplechocolate tarts and Colling wood kombucha.
Zach attended Culinary school locally at Georgian College, and later apprenticed under local Chef Tim Johnston (formally of Cobble Beach).
Continuing his passion, he later worked at establish restaurants; Michael Stadtlander's Eigensinn farm (Singhamton) and Langdon Hall (Cambridge Ontario).
In 2016 he established Naagan, serving creative tasting menus with the philosophy of “getting back to the land”. He won young entrepreneur of the year, competed in Garland Canada's Culinary competition and Chef's Roll blank canvas plating competition.
