The West Grey Library’s Indigenous Series Biindigin (‘Come in’) continues at the library’s Durham Branch on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 10:30 a.m. Led by Diane Owen, a Metis Elder, this is an ongoing series of interactive sessions to introduce aspects of Indigenous culture to the non-Indigenous community. Participants will learn about the talking stick and will make a story mask. Pre-registration is required by email and there is a $15 materials fee.
For 12-18-year-olds, the Library is offering a Stranger Things Escape Room Tuesday, Oct. 25, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., also at the Durham Branch. Work together to solve clues and help get Will out of the Upside Down! Sign up by email or at the front desk.
All Library programs are free. Any materials fees are noted.
