Come celebrate all things downtown Owen Sound with the first ever Downtown Dine Around. This remarkable collaboration of four downtown establishments on Tuesday, Nov. 29, will help support the SOS Outreach service.

It all started because of the number of times folks have said they're afraid to come downtown after dark.

So, we (The Ginger Press and United Way Bruce Grey) put together a progressive meal to help raise funds for Supportive Outreach Service (SOS), the collaboration of agencies which provides medical, mental health and social supports to those who need them.

Enjoy a sparky appetizer at Casero's, head over to Sabitri's for an outstanding dinner, and finish off with a sumptuous dessert at Georgian Bay School of Arts.

If you're up for more, then end the night at Heartwood Concert Hall's Open Mic Night ($5).

Tickets are $75 per person and you receive a tax receipt for $25 as part of the ticket price.

The restaurants will provide an overview of each course, and there will be an SOS Program representative at each location to highlight their involvement with this valuable service.

Alcoholic drinks are not included in the ticket price. Please do not drink and drive.

Three seatings, at 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., are each set for 15 diners; tickets can be purchased for any number of the 15 available places.

The SOS Outreach provides, medical, mental health, and social supports to people throughout Grey County, with a focus on downtown Owen Sound.

The United Way of Bruce Grey is a part of this valuable program assisting with many of the unfunded needs that emerge in this work.
