1 in 6 seniors experience abuse. Stories can help people to heal. Share your vision.

Sheatre, a community-engaged arts company, invites you to contribute your voice to Mishoo miinwaa Noki ~ You, Me and Wrinkles.

Wrinkles is a podcast where a multiplicity of voices, Indigenous and non-Indigenous, come together to raise awareness, break stigma and prevent elder abuse.

It's a project with theatre, stories and music at its heart. If you are a writer, singer-songwriter, playwright, poet, or spoken word artist we welcome you to submit your work for possible inclusion in our upcoming episode, In Seven Generations (working title).

WHO IS SHEATRE?

We’re an award-winning community-engaged arts company based in Grey-Bruce, Ontario. We believe in the power of art to change lives and contribute to a healthy, compassionate society.

Our two podcast series, Mishoo miinwaa Noki ~ You, Me and Wrinkles (aka Wrinkles) and Ye Canna Throw Yer Granny Off A Bus! (aka Granny), use storytelling, music and theatre to inspire social action to confront elder abuse. We seek original artistic submissions that immerse listeners and motivate change toward a bright future.

We are excited to provide artists with a platform to share meaningful messages and their unique voice.
