Our last dance was so well received, we're doin' it again! Come join us for a fun evening with live music, dancing and community spirit, this Saturday, May 6th at the Harmony Centre, 890 4th Ave. E., Owen Sound. We're UPSTAIRS this time, so please use the 9th Street entrance. We were very pleased to have several young families dancing in April. We're starting the dance at 7 pm this time and having some child/family fun dances early on, dancing till 10 pm. Admission is by donation (suggested $20).
Dan MacDonald, an award winning Cape Breton fiddler, and Brian Taheny, an Irish multi-instrumentalist (guitar, mandolin and banjo!) will get us moving with their lively tunes and Lyn Allan will lead us through the dances with her expert calling.
Our dances have a relaxed atmosphere and are smoke and alcohol free. Dress for comfort and anticipation of exercise - loose fitting, layered light-weight clothing. Please bring indoor comfortable shoes. No dancing partner is required. Bring your own water bottle.
Hope to see you on the dance floor!
