*****

You have a lunch date!

Join AnnMarie Rowland for a fabulous opening concert for the 28th annual summer noon-hour series tomorrow at Georgian Shores United Church in Owen Sound's Amen Corners on 4th Avenue East at 10th Street.

AnnMarie Rowland is a singer, songwriter, poet, star-gazer, and collector of antique quilts from Owen Sound.

Born and raised in Michigan, her dad handed her a yard-sale guitar when she was 11 years old, and that gift changed everything for her.

In the true folk music tradition, her songs tell stories torn from the pages of her life, from history, and people she meets along the way.

If a song doesn’t make you smile, make you cry, or shake your soul awake, I have failed.

AnnMarie Rowland

Music is for sharing so concerts are open to all and pay-what-you-can.

Children and anyone who doesn't feel that folk, classical, or traditional music are for them will be very warmly welcomed.

Clap, laugh, and cry as you wish throughout the show.

Come early and stay to chat, or sneak in or out as your schedule requires. Bring yourself and all of your friends and acquaintances.

We look forward to seeing you!
