The Friends of Cabot Head (FOCH) invite you to our annual gathering and fundraising dinner on Saturday, May 7 at the Tobermory Community Centre. FOCH is a not-for-profit organization of concerned citizens who maintain and manage the Historic Cabot Head Lightstation. We depend on donations, membership dues, Assistant Lightkeeper Program fees, and gift shop sales to fund all maintenance and operations. Your contributions keep this beautiful facility and area open to the public.
The general meeting, open to members, begins at 2:30pm. At 4:30, Scott Parent offers a fascinating presentation on his SUP Winter Crossing of Georgian Bay. Doors open at 4pm for the presentations. The Green Door Cafe of Wiarton caters a delicious buffet dinner starting at 6pm. Live entertainment is provided by Musicians of the Bruce Peninsula. There are door prizes and a raffle too. This is a great opportunity to re-connect with friends and neighbours, enjoy a lively evening out, and support the Historic Cabot Head Lightstation!
Get your tickets before April 22 by email: [email protected] or by phone: 519-795-7769 or 226-974-2808. Tickets are $70 per person and include a $35 tax receipt for donation. There is a reduced rate for paid members attending the general meeting. See our website for other program and event details. Cabot Head Lightstation opens to the public on May 1. We deeply appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you!
