Join in the fun with the Fiddlefern Country Dancers on Saturday, March 4th. Contra dancing is a great form of exercise and a wonderful way to meet new people.
Come by yourself or with friends or family. Bring your kids. Beginners are always welcome. We'll be dancing to toe-tappin' music with Jonathan Avery playing the fiddle and Maureen Keating on the keyboard. Frank Francalanza and Lyn Allan will expertly guide us through the steps.
Doors open at St. George's Church Hall, 1049 4th Ave. E. in Owen Sound at 7:30 pm for warm-up and orientation. Dancing is from 8pm to 11pm. $12 adults, $8 students, $5 children, $25 family. Bring soft-soled shoes for dancing and wear comfortable, layered clothing – you may get warm! Don't forget your water bottle and please refrain from wearing fragrances.
