Students attending post-secondary education in September still have time to apply for scholarships or bursaries at Community Foundation Grey Bruce.
If you are a student going into the trades, healthcare, media, literacy or physical education, Community Foundation Grey Bruce is seeking applications for scholarships, bursaries or awards. The deadline for application has been extended to June 16, 2017.
Grey Bruce Homebuilders & Trades Association established a scholarship for Grey and Bruce students graduating from secondary school and moving into post-secondary education to pursue a career in the trades. A letter of recommendation is required from the student's shop teacher to be uploaded into the online application form. Other scholarships and bursaries available for Grey Bruce students include: Aspiring Healthcare Leaders Bursary, Bayshore Broadcasting Media Scholarship, Cindy Davidson Memorial Bursary for studies in literacy related studies, Colleen Lantz Memorial Bursary for physical education, Marjorie & Norman Gingrich scholarship for medical sciences and research, Lyle & Isabelle Love Skilled Trades award, and the Roberta Brignell Healthcare Bursary for either Practical Nursing or PSW programs.
A new scholarship, Dr. Goldie & Eileen Gray Memorial Scholarship, supports students graduating from Grey Highlands Secondary School to pursue post-secondary education in university or college or a career in any skilled trade through apprenticeship.
