Grey Bruce Pride presents a screening of SUITED on Tuesday November 14 at the Owen Sound and North Grey Union Public Library.
This 2016 documentary film tells the true story of Bindle & Keep, a bespoke Brooklyn tailoring company that caters to a diverse LGBTQ community. They listen to the stories behind the tailoring requests, and we get to meet those people and understand their needs. The tailors and their clients explore ideas such as identity, empowerment, and the importance of being happy in one's body.
Doors open at 6:00, film starts at 6:30. Admission is by donation; pay what you can. Snacks and social time to follow. The film is suitable for ages 12 to adult.
