The Meaford Public Library Board is excited to announce that beginning in June 2018, the Meaford Public Library will be open on Mondays from 10 am to 5 pm, and will extend its hours on Saturdays now closing at 5 pm instead of 3 pm.

These extended opening hours are intended to increase opportunities for customers and visitors to enjoy the library facility, and to access programs and resources including free Wifi and computers as well as books, movies, magazines, audiobooks, and more.

Meaford Public Library Board chair Michael Poetker said, "The Board is delighted to share the news about the Meaford Public Library's extended hours. We are doing so in order to better serve the library's customers and visitors to the area. We trust that our customers will be as excited as we are and hope everyone will become accustomed to these new hours as they will be continuing in our new, accessible library facility."

The change in the Meaford Public Library's hours will also mean that on long weekends with a holiday Monday, the library will remain open on Saturday and closed on Monday.

Meaford Public Library Hours – Beginning June 2018

Monday, Wednesday and Friday - 10 am to 5 pm

Tuesday and Thursday - 10 am to 8 pm

Saturday - 10 am to 5 pm
