I'm going for a walk on Sunday, June 24, and I'd love you to come along. We'll be strolling through some parts of downtown Owen Sound as we chat about "where you ...and others....want to live."
This will be the fourth annual Jane's Walk in Owen Sound - a "walking conversation" named for author, activist and city-lover Jane Jacobs and hosted by our local Professional Planners.
There will be some surprises on the route, whether you've lived here all your life or are new to town. And your questions and insights and stories will make this walk one-of-a-kind.
The walk is free and open to everyone. We'll walk whatever the weather, at a comfortable pace for an hour and a half or two, so come prepared.
I'll meet you at 1 p.m. at the west end of Centre Suites, 945 3rd Avenue East (the Professional Building and temporary home of our City Hall).
For more information – or if you would like to lead your own Janes's Walk, check here. And here.
See you on the 24th!
