Safe N Sound will host its inaugural Charity Golf Tournament, on Monday June 18th, 2018, to raise money for their operating costs for the much-needed homeless initiative in Owen Sound.

The event will be held at Stone Tree Golf Club, located on Hwy 6 and 10 just south of Owen Sound. The entrance fees are $125 per person or $500 for a team of four. This event will include 18 holes of golf, dinner, prizes, a silent auction and the chance to win a 2018 Nissan Qashqai from Baywest Nissan. Tee off time will be 1pm.

Safe N Sound operates an after-hours emergency housing program which arranges emergency shelter, transportation, and food, seven days a week. Accessible daily 4:30pm to 10 pm by calling the Emergency Housing and Support line, members of the community can receive support, help with tenancy issues, and referrals to other agencies. Safe N Sound also operates The Space, located at 310 8th St E which provides homeless people and those at risk of becoming homeless with access to basic needs as well as support, advocacy and referrals. Visitors to The Space can eat, shower and socialize, workshops and tutoring also available.

Supporting Safe N Sound is an excellent way of helping people in our community with a hand up. Supporting the programs within Safe N Sound will help individuals to achieve independence, security and their personal goals.
