Grey County Soil & Crop are hosting a "Crop Walk" on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chatsworth area.
Meet at Free Ridge Farms, 822433 Sideroad 1, Chatsworth.
This Crop Walk will provide an excellent opportunity to walk a variety of crop fields which will include: Split applied nitrogen on Corn; New seeding alfalfa; No till vs conventional till soy comparison;
Grid soil sampling– starting precision ag; Strip till corn; and Wheat.
Pizza lunch will be served at Free Ridge Farms.
Cost for the lunch will be Free for members, $10 for non-members
Coffee and doughnuts will be served at registration.
