This year marks the 50th anniversary of the decriminalization of relationships between consenting adults of the same sex in Canada. To recognize this anniversary and the LGBTQ2S advances in Canadian society over these past 5 decades, Grey Bruce Pride celebrates Pride month with many activities and events. Recently launched is “Rainbows in the Sky” a Pride Flag campaign across our two counties. Flags are being raised throughout the month of June on municipal, business and community organization flag poles. The Town of Meaford is celebrating the rainbow colours on their water tower with a light display at night!
