Do you know an outstanding individual who helped shape our community through volunteerism? Nominate them for the Municipality of Meaford’s Community Builder award to show your appreciation.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2020 Community Builder award. This award is presented each year to outstanding individuals who have helped shape and promote the municipality through their devotion to volunteering on behalf of Meaford and its residents. The first recipients were Marilyn and Richard Morris in 2019 in recognition of their volunteer contributions of over 20 years through the Scarecrow Invasion and Family Festival.

To submit your nomination visit www.meaford.ca/communitybuilder, or pick up a nomination form at one of the following locations:

Administration Office – 21 Trowbridge Street West
Meaford Public Library – 15 Trowbridge Street West
Meaford and St. Vincent Community Centre – 151 Collingwood Street West
Meaford Hall – 12 Nelson Street East
Meaford Museum – 111 Bayfield Street
Council Chambers – 157859 7th Line
Nominations are due by Sunday March 15, 2020. Meaford Council will then review the nominations and select a recipient.

The award will be presented at the annual volunteer appreciation dinner, scheduled for Wednesday, April 22nd at the Meaford and St. Vincent Community Centre from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
