BOEC2Student leaders from both Owen Sound Collegiate and Vocational Institute (OSCVI) and West Hill Secondary School (WHSS) joined forces on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Bluewater Outdoor Education Centre (BOEC) near Wiarton for a Link Crew training event. Seventy students participated in team-building and training activities that will prepare them to welcome incoming grade 9 students to the newly combined secondary school in Owen Sound in September 2016.

dodge2005 caravan2On May 31, 2016 at 3:18 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a vehicle theft from the Daisy Mart parking lot located along Clinton Street south in Teeswater. Between 3:00 p.m. on May 31, 2016 and 3:15 p.m. on May 31, 2016, a Silver Dodge Caravan with licence #BEHC120 was taken. There is no estimate on the value of the stolen vehicle at this time.
