Bruce County celebrates Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Appreciation Day on Thursday, October 22, 2020.
This important day recognizes the challenging work, meaningful supervision, and continuous learning opportunities child care workers and early childhood educators provide to local children.
The COVID-19 pandemic has presented unique challenges to the child care and early years sector and Bruce County expresses gratitude for the commitment of Child Care Workers and ECEs across our communities.
Child Care Workers and ECEs are a cornerstone of economic recovery by supporting parents to fully participate in the workforce. As a result of the dedication of those working in child care centres, before and after school programs, and licensed home child cares, families in Bruce County are able to access high-quality, accessible, and inclusive child care.
