It is with the utmost sadness that staff of the Municipality of Meaford acknowledges the loss of our dear friend and colleague Nicolas Burt. Nick was a valued member of the Municipality’s team, working as the Project Manager, Facilities in the Community Services department. Nick was crucial to the construction of the new Meaford Public Library, ensuring that the community can enjoy that facility for many years to come.

Nick always had a smile to share and was universally liked by those he worked with. Although Nick was extremely diligent and dedicated to his work, his greatest role was as a husband to wife Stephanie and father to daughter Jovie. All municipal facilities will be closed to the public on Friday, August 12, 2022 to allow staff members to attend the memorial service for Nick, and mourn this loss to our community. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
