The Government of the Province of Ontario is offering a total reward of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the disappearance of Neil McDougall. Neil McDougall was 40 years of age at the time of his disappearance was a resident of Durham, Ontario.
On October 11, 1985 McDougall was in the Village of Ayton and was last seen leaving a residence at approximately 2:00 a.m. October 12, 1985.
McDougall was reported missing to police by family members on October 14, 1985.
His vehicle was located near the point McDougall was last seen. An extensive search of the area and police investigation was conducted; the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of McDougall lead police to believe that foul play is involved.
Investigators from the West Grey Police Service, Grey County OPP and the OPP West Region Support Team continue the investigation into the disappearance of Neil McDougall under the direction of Detective Inspector Andy Raffay of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
Investigators urge any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for the disappearance of Neil McDougall to immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or the nearest police authority.
