The Owen Sound Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public after a quantity of prescription methadone became unaccounted for and was reported missing on Monday September 26, 2016 by a methadone patient.
The concerned patient contacted the police to report that one 100 ml unit bottle of the liquid medicine was last seen during the week-end of September 24 and 25.
The methadone unit is a bottle about the size of a juice box, and has a child-proof lid. A small dose of this drug can be dangerous to children and it can also be dangerous to adults if a full dose is taken.
