On November 1, 2016 at 6:01 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a daytime break-in from a residence along Brook Street east in Tara. Sometime between 8:30 a.m. on November 1, 2016 and 6:00 p.m. on November 1, 2016, the home was forcibly entered. The list of missing property includes a Black Hewlett-Packard laptop, a Black Toshiba laptop and assorted pieces of jewellery. The value of the stolen items is estimated to be more than $4,300.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
