On November 3, 2016 at 4:26 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a crash involving a horse and buggy on Highway 6 in Chatsworth Township. Officers arrived with Grey County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and members of the Chatsworth to find that a southbound grey Hyundai Elantra struck the back of a horse and buggy that was also southbound on Highway 6. Both drivers were taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The horse had minor injuries assessed by a local veterinarian. The 17-year-old driver of the Hyundai was charged with careless driving.
