The Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has received multiple complaints of theft, from unlocked vehicles in the area of Bruce Road 13 towards Oliphant, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula. The thefts occurred between the evening hours of January 12 to January 13, 2017.

The on-going investigation has revealed a lone male was entering unlocked vehicles, which were parked in private driveways. The frontviewsuspect stole approximately $100, a hunting knife, A/C convertor, flashlight and a fuse.

The male suspect is described as  white, thin build and approximately 5'10" to 6' in height. He was wearing a beanie style toque, a hooded ski jacket dark in colour except for a lighter colour across the shoulders, jeans, and sneakers.

The Bruce Peninsula OPP is requesting citizens to report any suspicious persons or behaviour or vehicles roaming the area to call the Bruce Peninsula OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
