On March 18, 2017 at approximately 7:07 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an unconscious male on Hwy. 10, just south of Flesherton, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands, after he had fallen out of a moving vehicle.
The vehicle, a 1998 Chevrolet pick-up truck, occupied by the driver and four passengers - all between the ages of 16 and 24, was initially travelling southbound on Hwy. 10. As the vehicle slowed and proceeded to make a left turn into a commercial parking lot, a passenger occupying the box of the pick-up truck fell out onto the roadway and suffered a head injury.
The victim, a 24-year old Flamborough Township man, was transported to hospital where he is in stable condition.
There are no charges anticipated.
