MEAFORD – On Thursday, August 14, 2014 at approximately 7:31 p.m., Grey County OPP, the Meaford Fire Department and Grey County EMS responded to a fire on Boucher Street West in Meaford.

At the time, an 18-year-old Meaford woman was air lifted to a Toronto hospital with serious injuries. She has since died as a result of her injuries.

The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office has been called in to assist with the investigation. Foul play is not suspected.
