opp-graphic-fullAttempted vehicle theft in the Township of Chatsworth.

On October 16, 2017 at approximately 1:00 a.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police received a call from a resident on Sideroad 70 in the Township of Chatsworth reporting two suspicious males had just attempted to steal his vehicle.

The victim was alerted to a noise outside his workshop. When he went outside to investigate he observed the males trying to break into his 1989 Jeep vehicle. The driver's door was damaged in their attempt to gain access to the vehicle. One of the males was seen carrying a Gerry can of gas.

The suspects who were described as having a medium build, wearing bandanas and dark hats fled the scene in a red Kawasaki Mule UTV.
