On October 18, 2017 at approximately 4:30 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle after it was found travelling at a speed of 140 km/hr northbound on Highway 10 south of Flesherton in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

The driver of the 2014 Mercedes 2CL, from Toronto,  was issued a Part III Summons for driving at a rate of speed that was more than 50 km/h over the posted 80 km/h speed limit.

His licence was suspended for seven days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days, resulting in a taxi ride back to the city for him and three passengers.
