drink-opp-fullOn November 27, 2017 at 2:41 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police responded to a traffic complaint of a driver operating a white Fiat unsafely while travelling eastbound on Highway 21 in Bruce County.

Members from the South Bruce OPP and Bruce Peninsula OPP detachments located and stopped the Fiat 500 on Highway 21 West of Allenford. The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol. Seventy-two-year old Margaret Robinson of Kincardine was charged with driving a motor vehicle with over the legal, 80 milligrams limit of alcohol, in her blood.

The accused's vehicle was impounded for 7 days as a result of the offence.

She is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton on January 10, 2018 to answer to the charge.
