CHATSWORTH – On Monday, November 17, 2014 at approximately 12:36 p.m. Grey County OPP received a report of a house fire on Front Street, in Walter's Falls, in the Township of Chatsworth.

A smoke detector sounded, alerting the family of 3, who evacuated the residence without injury. The 1 ½ storey, board and batten farm house was destroyed as a result of the fire, which is believed to have started as a result of a wood furnace in the basement.

The Chatsworth Fire Department and the Grey Highlands Fire Department attended.
