The Community Foundation Grey Bruce is hitting the road this summer; visiting towns and villages across Grey and Bruce counties. A key aspect of the Summer Road Show is presentation of grant cheques to area charities and non-profits who successfully applied for funding.
This spring, a total of $129,152 is granted to support projects by 55 charities across Grey and Bruce counties. An additional $81,961 in grants will be disbursed to charities as directed by individuals and organizations who hold endowment funds at the Foundation.

- Thursday, August 1st, at 1 pm at the Reconciliation Garden at Kelso Beach, 2nd Avenue West, Owen Sound grants willbe presented to: Georgian Bay Folk Society, Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce, Grey Sauble Conservation Earth Day Film, VON Grey Bruce, Reach Centre Grey Bruce
- Thursday, August 8th, at 10 am at the Meaford Hall, 12 Nelson St E, Meaford, grants will be presented to: Meaford Hall and Culture Foundation, Walter’s Falls Community Centre, Events for Life Centre Inc.
- Wednesday, August 14th, at 11 am at the Ontario Senior Games Association, Paisley Community Centre, 391 Queen Street, Paisley, grants will be presented to: Ontario Senior Games Association, Paisley Agricultural Society, Grey Bruce Children’s Water Festival, Paisley Blues Festival
- Tuesday, August 20th, at 10:30 am at St. John Ambulance Grey Bruce, 316 5th St, Hanover, grants will be presented to: St. John Ambulance Grey Bruce, South Grey Bruce Youth Literacy Council, Bruce Grey Mentorship
- Tuesday, August 20th, at 11:15 am at the Lawn Bowling Club, 215 Jane St, Walkerton, grants will be presented to: Walkerton Action Committee, Dorrell Young Christmas Program, Brockton Parks & Recreation Department Bring Back the Bees
