After a year hiatus, the Holiday Tour of Homes is back, all in support of local hospice palliative care.
Get into the holiday spirit by visiting all 6 beautifully decorated locations within and around Owen Sound on Saturday, November 23rd and Sunday, November 24th from noon to 5pm each day.
Local homeowners have been paired up with decorators and florists to infuse their home with holiday cheer.
Participating locations include:
- Scott and Julia Kuhl – 021713 Grey Road 16 (1 mile east of Keady)
- Rob and Val McConachie – 123748 Story Book Park Road
- Dan and Jen Hladil – 318 Somers Street, Owen Sound
- Sim Salata – 2545 5th Ave West, Owen Sound (The Eddie Sargent House)
- The Chapman House – 1725 10th Street East, Owen Sound
- The Bayshore Community Centre – 1900 3rd Ave East, Owen Sound
“This year, we added the opportunity to design your own holiday décor during the reception at the Bayshore Community Centre,” says Jody Johnson, Event Coordinator, Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce. “Create your own DIY project to add some holiday cheer to your home with the help of Slightly Distressed, Interior Motives, Tamara Govier of IG Wealth Management and Chris Carmichael of Stampin’ Up. These four local crafters will be leading workshops throughout the weekend.”
While at the Bayshore, you can enter to win raffle prizes, indulge in delicious treats and enjoy a beverage at the cash bar operated by the Owen Sound Attack.
All proceeds from the Holiday Tour of Homes will go to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce who provides hospice palliative care to Grey & Bruce residents and their families at Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound.
The residential hospice has provided expert end-of-life care to over 600 patients from across Grey and Bruce, while supporting the families in their journey.
