 stolen-art-fullOfficers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a theft in Collingwood and are asking for the public's help in solving this crime.

The theft took place sometime over the holiday season in December/January 2014 at the Tremont Art Gallery on Simcoe Street in Collingwood. The painting is described as oil on canvas painting of a summer scene in an orchard, 20"x24" in a natural colour box frame.
Investigation is ongoing however if anyone has information on this incident, they are asked to contact the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains O.P.P. at (705) 445-4321 or Call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (1-800-222-8477) or submit your information online at www.crimestopperssdm.com if you have any information on this crime or others.
