On March 20, 2020, the Town issued notice that penalty charges for tax and water levies due in March 2020 would be waived until April 30th. It also stated that interest charges would continue to accrue on any previous unpaid balances.
As this pandemic continues, we want to further assist you by waiving the penalty charges on all tax, utility instalments and accounts receivable, for 90 days after the due date. Interest charges will continue to accrue on any previous unpaid balances (prior to March 20, 2020) during this time.
Due to the office closure, we remind everyone that, tax, utility and accounts receivable payments can be made through any of the following methods:
• Online and telephone banking,
• At your financial institution,
• By using the drop-box located at the George Street entrance to Town Hall, and
• Mail.
Thank you for your your patience as we all find our way through these trying time.
