Welcoming Communities Grey Bruce is holding its first Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, June 10th at 7:00 pm via ZOOM videoconference. We are launching this new organization with a diverse and skilled volunteer board to build an inclusive and welcoming Grey Bruce.

Welcoming Communities is committed to creating safe spaces for the big conversations about systemic racism that are needed in our community. We are here to welcome and support newcomers, and work in partnership with services, employers and local government. Our mission is to work towards an inclusive and welcoming Grey Bruce where differences are celebrated and no one is left behind.

The recommendations from Truth and Reconciliation report, the outpouring of grief and rage around the world following the murder of George Floyd, and the calls for change to correct past injustices motivate and guide our work.
