Larry Miller, Member of Parliament for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, is encouraging local veterans to participate in the Invictus Games Toronto 2017 Veterans Career Summit on September 28th and 29th, 2017.
In partnership with Barrick Gold Corporation, the Invictus Games Toronto 2017 will be holding a two-day career summit for veterans looking to transition to the civilian workforce. The summit will give veterans the opportunity to connect with potential employers and industry leaders. The event will also provide career counselling, keynote talks on how to establish a new career, and an area where interviews can take place and job offers can be made.
"Ensuring that our veterans have a smooth transition from service to civilian life is of the utmost importance," said Miller. "I strongly encourage all local veterans to take advantage of this career summit and commend Barrick Gold and the Invictus Games for
putting this event together."
The summit will take place at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel on September 28th and 29th, 2017. Those looking for more information may visit the website.
