Members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) are currently on scene of a barricaded person incident on Victoria Street in the village of Dundalk.

On August 20, 2023, at 9:55 p.m., members of the Grey Bruce OPP responded to a report that an assault occurred in the village of Dundalk. The involved individual initially refused to exit the residence and was eventually apprehended by police.

The accused remains in custody facing criminal charges.

Victoria Street in Dundalk has since re-opened for public access.
