The Owen Sound Police Service is investigating the theft of a motor vehicle that took place this morning at a west side convenience store.

Around 9:05 a.m. a 2015 maroon coloured Honda Civic bearing Ontario licence # BXMD 611 was stolen from a parking lot in the 1400 block of 2nd Avenue West. The owner left his vehicle running while he went into the convenience store to use the ATM. When the owner returned approximately 2 minutes later, he found his vehicle to be gone. The keys were left inside and it had approximately ½ tank of gas.

Two suspects were observed on video surveillance and are described as:

Suspect #1: Male, white, thin build, wearing a black baseball hat, a beige coloured bomber-style jacket, 'skinny' jeans, and dark coloured dress shoes.

Suspect #2: Male, white, thin face, wearing a dark coloured toque and thin framed sunglasses.

The Owen Sound Police is requesting that if anyone has information or may have observed the vehicle relating to this crime, they are asked to contact the Owen Sound Police Service at 519-376-1234, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
