A driver of a pick-up truck failed to remain at the scene after a collision.
On February 12, 2018 at approximately 12:05 a.m. a motor vehicle collision occurred between a pick-up truck and a Sport Utility Vehicle at the intersection of Highway 10 and Main Street East, Dundalk, in the Township of Southgate. The driver of the pick-up truck failed to remain at the scene and was last seen going eastbound on Dufferin Road 9.
The full size, black pick-up truck was initially travelling eastbound on Main Street East. It disobeyed a red light at the intersection and collided with a Hyundai SUV that was northbound on Highway 10 causing extensive damage to the vehicle. The driver of the SUV, a 37-year old male from Orangeville, was not injured.
Police are looking for assistance in identifying the driver of the pick-up truck which will have damage to the front end.
