On February 25, 2018 at 12:25 a.m. Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 21 and B Line.
The involved vehicle, a grey 2013 Volkswagen left the roadway and a struck tree. The vehicle then burst into flames. The lone male driver was able to exit the vehicle under his own power. He was transported to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.
A 23-year-old male of Arran-Elderslie was charged with disobey stop sign - fail to stop, Highway Traffic Act 136(1)(a).
