opp-graphic-fullTwo people have been charged following multiple break and enters on the Bruce Peninsula.

During the weekend of March 23-25, 2018, Bruce Peninsula OPP and OPP Grey/Bruce Community Street Crimes Unit responded to numerous Break and Enter occurrences in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula and Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula. The break-ins occurred at seasonal cottages and sheds.

On March 27, 2018 police charged two people with offences related to the break and enters as well as other offences.

Grey/Bruce Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant on a South Bruce Peninsula residence and seized a large amount of stolen property. As a result of the continuing investigation police have laid additional charges against the accused parties.

On April 10, a 41-year-old male, of South Bruce Peninsula was additionally charged with the following:

13 counts of Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 
12 counts of Break, Enter a place - commit indictable offence 
Theft Under $5000 

A 28-year-old female of South Bruce Peninsula was additionally charged with the following:

12 counts of Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 
11 counts of Break, Enter a place - commit indictable offence
