On Friday July 20, 2018 at approximately 4:00 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to an armed robbery at a gas station on Highway 9, between Harriston and Clifford.
Initial reports indicate that a lone suspect arrived on a motorcycle, entered the gas bar brandishing a shotgun. The suspect was last seen travelling northbound on Highway 9 on a dark sport styled motorcycle.
OPP continue to investigate. The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black dirk bike styled helmet with mouth vents, dark hoodie, and blue jeans. He was also operating a black sport style motorcycle.
Police are asking who might have been in the area or has video surveillance or a dash cam to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
