On July 19, 2018 Grey County Ontario Provincial Police attended a residence on Balmy Beach Road in the Township of Georgian Bluffs after receiving a noise complaint regarding loud music playing after 11:00 p.m.

Police could hear the music upon arrival. Investigation revealed that the resident had been previously warned with respect to the loud music after hours.

A 44-year old male was issued a ticket under the Township of Georgian Bluffs By-Law 95-2011 for noise from an electronic device during prohibited time (11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.). The male was warned with respect to the criminal offence of mischief should he continue to play music loudly.
