Police seek public's assistance with traffic complaint.
On July 20, 2018 at approximately 2:00 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police received several reports of a motorcycle and a car racing on Nelson Street in the Municipality of Meaford. Information was received that a truck equipped with a trailer was also involved.
Police attended the area but were unable to locate any of the suspect vehicles. During patrols, police located an abandoned motorcycle on Grey Road 12 east of Grey Road 112. The investigation continues. Anyone with information which may assist is asked to contact Grey County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-8000-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.cstip.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2000.
